3 tractor adopts high-strength steel to build "closed round frame", with low centre of gravity, which is not easy to roll over in emergencies. Matching with Voith hydraulic retarder, it can avoid brake failure caused by long time braking. At the same time, it integrates EBS, AEBS, ESC and LDWS of Knorr-Bremse and WABCO, adopting advanced technology to protect drivers.

Z3 tractor adopts streamline shape, and through aerodynamic optimisation design, the wind resistance coefficient is effectively reduced. The total power chain matching simulation and calculation is carried out through the auxiliary tool - AVL Cruise. The lightweight design of the whole vehicle, using aluminium alloy, glass fibre and composite materials in many places, results in a lower GVW. With a total fuel tank capacity of 800L, it effectively ensures cold start-up in winter for cold regions.

The minimum ground clearance is 314mm, with an approach angle greater than 25°. The climbing ability reaches 30%, allowing for climbing with higher gears and faster speeds.
